The film is scary at times, with its atmosphere, its monsters and its music that plays on paranoia and fear with great efficiency. I feel like I'm watching a vibrant homage to Lovecraft's work while watching this film. The settings are strange and fascinating, while being scary. The only two flaws that I blame the film for are the writing of these characters which is not developed enough, because of the short time for the film, and also the script which is not famous. Despite this, I highly recommend this film for those who want to be afraid of the unknown.

A lot like GalaxyQuest if Galaxy Quest wanted you to take it seriously. A good cast of characters, decent visuals, and at first the sound and music come off as low budget 80s crap but after a while it grows on you. Only real problem, wth happened to Ranger? They yeeted him out of the movie.

Interesting in parts, schlocky and cheap throughout.
