Not again ! Another horror that looks beautiful, promises a great storyline, has an intriguing quality about it. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . but tbh just fails to deliver on any of it's themes
Stunning.
nahh
another one of those rare movies that portrays magic and the occult accurately- zz
Few movies earn a 5 star to me, but this makes the cut. Folk horror at it's best, with character building to match a rich plot steeped in history and a modern enough setting to recontextualize the terror for todays audience. no element was neglected in this films formula for a folkhorror frenzy. bonus points for generational curses, always gets me!
