this movie is so fucking awesome i really like it because it has a great story great cast and in this one it introduces zombie Jason and they put him front and center the whole movie which i like because in the early films they always have him off screen until the end
Part V & VI are perfect examples of how not to do/ and how to do a film like this. Everywhere V falters, VI excels. The gags are actually funny, not just the bad acting. The kills, while clever in both, are edited better here, and the jump scares land. There are some quirky bits that manage to work, against all odds, like the Bond opening, the credit card gag, and bits of postmodern meta-dialogue predating Scream by a decade.
Jason kills Horshack the Sweathog from the Welcome Back Kotter tv show. Jason thinks he is James Bond.
contender for the corniest slasher (for the soundtrack alone)
My absolute favorite of the franchise, this movie has a special place in my nostalgic heart
