This one is my favorite! As a 70s baby, 80’s kid, this one is the first FTT I saw in the movie theater. My mom let me see it at 8 years old, gratuitous titties and all…oh and murder. It opens with a Corey, quintessential 80’s, and Tommy has some Bruce Lee in him. For those who weren’t there in the 80’s, the story in this one will seem to not fit. But for those of us who saw it back then, FTT doesn’t work without this one. Tommy’s flashbacks are representative of how slasher films were taking over our culture. This one is hard to find. I’m glad Shudder put it in the mix.

“A New Beginning” manages to be both the worst film and possibly the best to watch with a group. They ramp the silliness up to 11, with most of the actors playing ridiculous stereotypes, but not the ridiculous stereotypes we expect. Instead of virgins and jocks we get greasers and rednecks. I bet this one has the craziest behind the scenes stories though. There’s no way this wasn’t made from behind a cloud of cocaine dust.

I'd skip this one. Watch them all in a series, but this one. It really has nothing to do with Jason. like how Halloween 2 season of the witch has nothing to do with Michele Myers. Its good on its own i guess.
