This is my favorite film of the franchise. I love it from the opening all the way to the end. Great introduction to a horror icon. Ginny is one of my all-time favorite final girls.
Rewatching these in order for the first time since I was a kid (80's parents were not as helicopter-like as today's iteration), and sure, these are wretched movies in so many ways, but also classic. You gotta watch this series if you are wanting to call yourself a horror aficionado. Not bad for a campy slasher, but it has everything you'd expect - no name actors, terrible dialogue, cliche scares, and yet it is enjoyable!
The 2nd part of horror franchises are usually pretty weak, and this is no different.
I enjoyed this movie. Definitely recommend.
If you get confused, its because you have to watch them in order. It would be like trying to watch Saw 3 without watching 1 and 2 and not watching 4.
