As their parents head out for a date night, the three young Thompson children immediately take to their new babysitter, Anna, who seems like a dream come true: she’s sweet, fun, and lets them do things that break all of the rules. But as Anna’s interactions with them take on a more sinister tone, the kids realize that their caretaker may not be who she claims to be, and soon it’s up to big brother Jacob to protect his siblings from the increasingly nefarious intentions of a very disturbed woman.
A young boy tries to protect his two siblings when their new baby sitter starts to reveal her psychotic nature.

Great acting, and creative.
I consider this like a comfy, light thriller that i honestly loved & want more of. I love how f*ed up it got with her tellin the kids shi*
Well acted all around, Emelie is creepy, sinister, unnerving, and the first 2 acts do such a good job of building dread. It unravels a bit in act 3 sadly so could have finished stronger but still an unsettling take on the genre.
Still an awesome movie almost a decade later !
