Don't Torture a Duckling
Directed by Lucio Fulci
After a trio of child murders, villagers suspect a local witch who practices voodoo. But nothing’s simple in this twisted mystery and soon reporter Barbara Bouchet sets out to find the real kiddie killer. Before he became famous for gory goodies like ZOMBIE, director Lucio Fulci churned out gripping giallos, of which this film is arguably his finest. But fans of Fulci’s gruesome side won’t be disappointed. The scene in which villagers enact vigilante justice on the witch (giallo goddess Florinda Bolkon) is one of the most disturbing moments in horror history.

I really enjoyed this film and its a classic Italian horror with a nice little twist at the end. I would watch this again.
If you're going to complain about troglodytes then learn how to spell the word first.
I'm beginning to think that Fulci just isn't for me. I watched this just out of curiosity, and it wasn't entirely disappointing. It has an interesting plot and even some messaging about society and religion, but it kind of plods along and makes all sorts of bizarre contortions to get to an unsatisfying ending.
That fight atop the cliff against beautiful scenery with the WHAM ZONK KAPOW effects and the slow-mo and the music? Peak giallo!
