As operatic as I had hoped. This is absolutely an Argento movie for all that entails.
Dark Glasses is no Deep Red or Tenebrae but it's not a total disappointment.
It’s not as bad as you may have heard but doesn’t come anywhere close to the zenith that was Deep Red, Suspiria or even Tenebrae or Opera. Lacks thrills and the killer reveal is very likpStill a very watchable and fun modern giallo.
I'm a huge Argento (both Dario and Asia) fan and I'm glad this was made. But this was nowhere near his best work. The beginning and end was good but the middle was very dull. Overall an average film. Could've been worse and could've been better.
Pretty weak for an Argento film. One time was enough.....
