I enjoyed this movie very much. The beginning started strong and it stayed interesting and entertaining throughout. The ending was a little weird to me, but the very last shot was cool.
Such a treat
I bet this scared the piss outta the folks in 1962. If you're a cult, folk, occult, etc lover like myself, I think you'll love this movie. Some of the cinematography was just awesome, and Chrsitopher Lee is always welcome.
I think this is the youngest Christopher Lee movie I have ever seen to date. This was very low budget and you can tell. It was also very Twilight Zone to me. Did not particularly enjoy the retelling of the Salem Witch Trials - especially the accuracy of events. Although I wonder how much further they could have gone without the Hays Code restrictions.
One of the all time black and white classics. Top 100 horror for me.
