Brilliant
Having read the book, I was expecting more. It struggles to hold my attention and the CGI is very poor. However, the acting is great and the team really gives it their all. Shame the film ended up being very poor quality
Not as good as the original!
The movie is alright, the child acting is of surprising quality, and you can feel that the whole cast gave it their best. However, the script is a little on the nose in many parts, and many characters quite shallow. Overall a fun watch.
The movie is shot well, the set design is on point, the sound design is as well, and honestly I found myself rooting for the villain which isn't common in modern movies. They did an excellent job with the retelling of the Children of the Corn in a new light. Loved it.
