Positives- it is not a complete rehash. Some good gore and creativity. Some good Acting. Negatives- too many Plot shortcuts. He Who Walks is pretty sad to look at. Cliche moments throughout. There are worse 'Children of the Corn' Films, but not many.
Pretty meh…
Dear god I wish I could give it a negative review. This movie was god awful. They took the original story and tore it to shreds, the acting is laughable, and the plot is horrible. Theres almost zero explination for the possession, it just seems like a little girl went on a power trip and killed anyone. Thank god I have memory loss, I'll be able to forget I ever watched this movie.
It's pretty bad, though the original movie isn't exactly fantastic either. I kinda feel like being fond of this series means accepting that none of these movies are particularly good. I didn't click with this one. But the gore was fun, and the rapport b/t the final girl and our little corn preaching maniac was endearing to me. Hey, it wasn't boring, and that's something I can be happy with.
Brilliant
