Fuck the transphobes this is a very fun and very YA Scooby-Doo esque slasher about transphobia and queerphobia in a small town.
I'd give it 3½. fun story, good gore, maybe just a little too fast paced. def worth the watch though
I was excited for a new holiday movie and was disappointed with this. It was ok for a one time watch.
I love inclusive movies, and I can deal with bigotry and sketchy storytelling, but the editing of this film is atrocious. Any violence is precipitated by several faded smash cuts of what's happening, followed directly by the aftermath of what happened. All violence is dealt with like this. It gets very repetitive.
Not my favorite of Mackay's but still a fun time as always, I really liked the mask for the killer and I ADORED the animated segment.
