Brooklyn 45
Directed by Ted Geoghegan
Friday, December 27, 1945. Five military veterans gather in the ornate parlour of a Brooklyn brownstone. Best friends since childhood, they’ve reunited to support their troubled host – but when his invitation for cocktails turns into an impromptu séance, the metaphoric ghosts of their past become all-too-literal. Trapped in their host’s lounge, the Greatest Generation now finds themselves put to one final test...with their only route to freedom being more bloodshed.
When WWII veterans gather for an impromptu séance, they must face the ghosts of their past.
Cast: Anne Ramsay, Ron E. Rains, Jeremy Holm, Larry Fessenden, Ezra Buzzington, Kristina Klebe

Took me a while to get into it, as I was in the mood for something else, but I promised myself to get through all the Psych. Thrillers, and this was next in queue. Holy poop, now this is a good movie, and worth the 93 mins of your life.

Interesting premise. Well-shot, well-acted, well-written, but not super action-packed. If you're interested in an extended setting with characters dealing with a moral dilemma instead of just running away from a guy with a knife, you'll really dig this movie. I was pretty surprised that in 1945 all of these WW2 vets are in their late-50s/early-60s.
Very cool, feels a bit like a play with it all taking place in one setting.
Personally I loved the cast and general feel of the movie. Though I can see people not liking the slow moments and at times repetitive plot points, I think the actors did a great job here. I was completely invested in learning the characters' lives even more than the scares at points.
