Brooklyn 45
Directed by Ted Geoghegan
Friday, December 27, 1945. Five military veterans gather in the ornate parlour of a Brooklyn brownstone. Best friends since childhood, they’ve reunited to support their troubled host – but when his invitation for cocktails turns into an impromptu séance, the metaphoric ghosts of their past become all-too-literal. Trapped in their host’s lounge, the Greatest Generation now finds themselves put to one final test...with their only route to freedom being more bloodshed.
When WWII veterans gather for an impromptu séance, they must face the ghosts of their past.
Cast: Anne Ramsay, Ron E. Rains, Jeremy Holm, Larry Fessenden, Ezra Buzzington, Kristina Klebe

Well acted by the whole cast, and the story kept me interested throughout. It's kind of a slow burn, but it's worth checking out.
Fun, thoughtful and unique. F s
Stagy (which can be ok, depending). The acting is good, but the dialogue is weak (over-relying on cliches and/or too on the nose) and the story itself doesn’t resolve in interesting ways. Also, why is everyone so old? The youngest cast member is in their 50s. WWII was a young person’s war for the most part. This would have played better as a reunion many years after the war.
Really awesome theatre-like horror movie, about the horror of war (and also evil ghosts). Very stylish single-location movie that stays tight with the characters and their emotional journeys. Not always the most subtle movie but I don't think that detracts from its effectiveness. Gonna check out more by Geoghegan.
Original and different. Worth a watch.
