The short stories are fun, though Mark Hamill's story is easily the most disturbing with some nice spooky visuals. A nice balance of comedy, gore, and scares. Certainly a bit of a hidden gem here, there's tons of cameos proving the cast were all having tons of fun making this one.
this movie is crazy it goes from Campy Slasher, to Campy body horror thing, to Mark Hamil acting his little ass off in what should have been a award winning performance of a happy go lucky southern babtist baseball player slowly losing his mind because of a eye implant.
It was quite fun, especially with an all-star cast!
If you like a cheesy 90s horror, you’ve come to the right place. This is just fun and so very 1990s. This is Tales From the Hood aimed at late-night b-movie junkies. Grab a can of Jolt and some Devil Dogs and enjoy!
Great horror anthology, John Carpenter is clearly having fun as the host. Guest spots from some other horror royalty. Great to see someone at a level like Mark Hamill do some horror.
