Ambitious for what budget it had. Overall good call out to old splatter movies with decent effects
lol l was thinking someone like Arnold boy was l wrong
This movie certainly lives up to its “Japanese Evil Dead” tag. It’s clearly inspired by the first two movies and even borrows some lines directly from them. Lots of over the top blood and guts to go with some goofy action sequences and terrible(in a good way) practical effects. If you don’t like movies that have bad film quality or don’t appreciate low budget efforts then stay away from this one. I would recommend to fans of the Evil Dead movies, fans of so-bad-it’s-good movies, and old school horror fans who’ve seen a lot and can appreciate some schlock like this.
A perfect ode to classic horror!
Those who do not understand horror movies will not like this.
