Really enjoyed this. Didn't know anything going in and it worked well. Some surprising choices that payed off and the gore effects were really top notch.

I love movies that are more about theme than narrative (Titane, hatching). I also love movies with ambiguous endings. The acting and world building were great on this movie…the movie itself, such a flop. It felt like it should have been a short 15 minute film. But it dragged on and wow was it frustrating. Everyone is incompetent especially the protagonist. Despite her annoyingly stupid if not passive choices, she’s lucky and her world is made of convenient things. I really hated this movie despite everything it had going for itself :( it does have a few cool kills and interesting supernatural elements but for me, it’s not worth the terrible writing.
