This one is for me
FlyLo done did it again.
I feel like I watched so much and got so little. If you like watching up close face shots of a pretty girl mewing at the camera for 95 minutes, then this one is for you.
i feel like this doesn't quite know what it wants to be. it doesn't have the chops to work as a more impressionistic piece. it isn't emotionally or physically believable enough to work as a straight narrative. it's not a bad ride, but it feels like it's constantly undermining itself. they could have done a lot more with it. as an aside, i read that the director made an entirely different soundtrack, which was swapped out for something more standard part way through production. i'd be curious to know what the other vision was like.
wtf did I just watch . the score n visuals are stunning, m the whole mystery is really disturbing
