I absolutely adore all the Yokai movies, as they are all based on actual spirits embedded in Japanese culture. Sure, the presence of the yokai in this film is less than one might hope, but they are exceptionally creepy when they do show up. What I like though, is that they serve as the justice & protection against nefarious clans. Action is great, it’s a good story with children that are endearing and not annoying, and the pacing leaves you engaged.
Action, comed, horror and heart. This classic has it all!
Lots of fun. Great soundtrack. Very spooky.
this was really entertaining and very good special effects for the time period considering what was going on in the world around this time. it’s kind of like a historical drama meets creature feature .
Very entertaining, and I could watch it with my kids...if I had any. The ghosts look very eerie and cool.
