The ending left a bit to be desired, but all things considered the plot was interesting enough. I wanted to give this at least 4 skulls but couldn't quite get there, so three it is. The end felt a bit rushed and even though I can typically sniff out what is going on so the end is not a surprise, this didn't follow the path I expected. It wasn't bad, in my opinion, you just feel something is missing. The story was not presented in a way that did it justice. I love the idea of old Irish folk traditions etc so I was a bit sad in the end that it didn't quite meet the mark for me. Worth a watch I think if you have time to kill, not one I'd recommend if you want to get a stellar horror movie in at the end of the day.

It's a fine movie, wish there was more explained about the particular supernatural forces and what exactly they want in regards to the end, it kept my attention and is not as confusing as some people are saying.

The film started what felt like a quarter way through, missing out details, or hints towards each charactors part in the bigger picture. It had great promise, as the story it hinted towards felts fresh and exciting. Sadly it wasn't any of those, it felt like lazy film making, which I'm sure it wasn't, it was just way off the mark.
