Outstanding and unique
A horror movie that, remarkably, focuses on richly developing the details and dynamics of a single hard-to-define freaky relationship: not sexual, commercial, or familial. The acting is superior, and the portrayal of ceremonial magic was as credible as anything I have seen on screen. (If you liked the film for this last reason, you should see the excellent Korean movie Exhuma on Shudder, too)
It’s an ok movie but no where near scary
It was an ok movie. The movie portray a good message, but the slow pacing made it drag until it finally became somewhat engaging toward the end.
