horror_junkie13. . . . . what are you talking about brotha. . . Reminded, Reminded, Reminded. . . . . . Real estate fraud? Looking for "That hardcore NEO NOIR Real-estate Giallo"?!!?!??! LOL Jeezus.
Not a horror film, as others point out. Reminded me of Jeremy Saulnier's crime thrillers. I am reminded that many ex-felons are humble people who find it difficult to stay out of trouble. I am also reminded that film makers seem globally to assume that the real illicit trade is in drug smuggling and bank robbery, or perhaps human trafficking and human organ theft. There are actually more lucrative opportunities in money laundering, cybercrime, bribery, embezzlement; insurance, investment, real estate fraud; toxic waste dumping, insider trading, and so on. Somehow these other ventures are apparently less sexy or too complex for mass audiences. Or they are too close to home for some film makers.
Not a horror movie, but an awesome movie nonetheless
Loved this, saw it on another platform years ago and just re watched it here. My kind of movie. Not technically a horror movie but so gritty at times it could be categorized as one. Now I have a bluebird in my heart too.
While it's not horror, I think most horror fans will appreciate it. If you're looking for a slow burn drama with great performances, give it a whirl.
