A good vampire adaptation, it plays a great change up to other flicks of the same genre, great cast and the effects are good, I feel it was rushed way to much in the 3rd Act and the editing was kinda one noted with so many fades it seemed like a made for tv mini series with the transitions.
For the life of me I do not understand how this film isn’t vampire canon.
Love love love
I enjoyed this film. Ending was a bit hokey, but overall solid. Creepy and violent.
“God? No God…” For my money, the scariest vampires of all time. Still packs a punch almost 20 years later. Great acting, even if the town is NOTHING like Barrow, Alaska. Danny Huston’s vampire and the rest of his horde, are feral fucking nightmares. The effects and brilliant camera work, along with some incredible stunt actor, help to make this an all time classic for me.
